How to stamp and sign a document at the same time, step by step

  1. Open the document, PDF, Word or Excel. It is laid out as written, so a .docx contract does not need converting first.
  2. Place the signature, Drawn, typed, or an uploaded photo of your signature on paper, with the background dropped automatically.
  3. Place the stamp next to it, Company seal, approval mark, or a logo stamp. A stamp with a transparent centre can sit over the signature or the text without hiding either, which is how a real overlapping seal looks.
  4. Apply to one page or all of them, then seal, A contract usually wants the stamp on every page and the signature on the execution page. One hash covers the finished document, so the stamp, the signature and the text stand or fall together.

Can I put a logo stamp on a contract?

How do I add a transparent stamp to a PDF?

Use a stamp with a transparent centre, which is the normal form for a round seal: the ring, the text and the border print, and the middle lets the document through. It can then overlap the signature or the text without obscuring anything.

Can I stamp every page of a PDF?

Yes. Choose all pages rather than the current one. For a long agreement this is common practice, because it makes page substitution obvious.

Does the stamp go on before or after the signature?

It does not matter here, because both are applied before the document is sealed. What matters is that the seal covers the finished document, so nothing can be added afterwards without verification failing.
