How to watermark a photo

Watermarking a photo protects it from being reused without credit. Drop your image into PDF Verified, add a diagonal text watermark (your name, brand, or © notice) or upload a logo, and set the colour and opacity so it marks the photo without hiding it. Download the watermarked photo — the image stays in your browser and is never uploaded to a server.

How to watermark a photo — step by step

  1. Upload your photo — Open Quick Sign and drop in your JPG, PNG or WebP. It opens as a page in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
  2. Add the watermark — Add a Watermark field, type your text (name, brand or ©) and set the colour, size and opacity. Prefer a logo? Upload a transparent PNG and set its opacity instead.
  3. Download the watermarked photo — Download the finished file with the watermark baked in so it cannot be removed.

Frequently asked questions

How do I watermark a photo for free?

Drop the image into Quick Sign, add a Watermark field, type your text or upload a logo, set the opacity, and download. Designing and previewing are free.

Can I use my logo instead of text?

Yes. Upload a transparent PNG logo, position it, and set its opacity for a branded photo watermark.

Will the watermark reduce my photo quality?

No. The watermark is drawn over the image; the rest of the photo is preserved at full resolution.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. The image is processed entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.
