Free online company stamp & seal maker
Make a digital rubber stamp, an e-stamp or a full company seal in minutes, with no registration to start. Create a notary stamp or an approval mark, adjust the shape, ring text, colour, logo and size, then download the image or save it to apply to documents with locked serials and QR verification.
How to make a professional stamp
- Pick a template or shape, Start from one of 200+ industry templates, or choose a shape, circle, oval, rectangle, shield, hexagon, triangle.
- Set the size and colour, Adjust the stamp size and ink colour. A standard round seal is about 38mm; rectangles auto-fit your lines.
- Add your ring text, Type the text that curves around the outer ring, your company, office or seal name, top and bottom.
- Add centre text, dates and times, Add the centre lines, a date, a time, or a serial. Use {{DATE}}, {{TIME}} and {{SERIAL}} so they fill in automatically when the stamp is applied.
- Drop in a logo or emblem, Upload a logo or add a star, crest or shape element, then move, scale and rotate it into place.
- Download or save it, Watch the live preview as you edit, then download the image, or save it to your library to apply to real documents.
Why build your stamp online
- Design in your browser. No software, no install, no design skills, on desktop or mobile.
- Control of every element. Shape, ring text, centre text, colour, fonts, logos and emblems, each positioned and sized exactly.
- Locked serials and QR verification. A saved stamp carries a tamper-evident serial and a code anyone can scan to verify, not just a picture.
- Lands at the right size. Every format states the physical size of a real rubber stamp, so it does not arrive page-wide and shove your text around.
- Apply straight to documents. Use a saved stamp in Quick Sign or inside an envelope to seal a PDF, then download or send it.
One stamp, every format you need
Design it once. The same seal comes out as a professional online e-stamp, a Microsoft Word stamp, a PDF stamp and a portable file you can carry anywhere.
- A professional online e-stamp. Design it in the browser and it is ready to use the same minute. No block to order, no ink pad, no waiting for a courier.
- A Microsoft Word stamp. The Word download floats over your document instead of pushing the text down the page, and the date, the time and the serial stay as real text you can retype.
- A PDF stamp. Apply it straight onto a PDF and the page is sealed with a fingerprint and a QR anyone can check.
- A portable stamp. One zip carries PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF and Word, so it works the same on a phone, a laptop or a shared drive.
- An editable stamp. Change the wording, colour, ring text or size at any time. A physical block is cut once and cannot be corrected.
Built for the professions that stamp every day
Custom rubber stamps take days to cut and cost again every time the wording changes. These are ready in minutes, editable forever, and each impression can carry its own serial.
- Advocates. An advocates rubber stamp for pleadings, affidavits and correspondence, with your name, practising number and firm around the ring.
- Commissioners for oaths. A commissioner for oaths rubber stamp with the wording, commission details and the date line an affidavit has to carry.
- Notaries public. A notary public seal stamp for Kenya, with the serial locked to each document so a scanned copy can still be checked against the original.
- Engineers. Engineering rubber stamps for Nairobi practices: registration number, board details and the approval mark that goes on every drawing.
- Anyone certifying copies. A certified true copy stamp, dated and signed, so a copy carries the same weight as the paper it was taken from.
Frequently asked questions
Is the online stamp maker free?
Designing a stamp is free: pick a template, customise the text, shape, colour, logo and size, and watch the live preview. Downloading the image or saving the stamp to your library to apply to documents is where paid features begin.
What file formats can I download?
A high-resolution PNG (transparent, for overlaying on documents, or on a white background), a JPG, an SVG vector for print and design tools, a PDF, and a Word file that floats over your document, or every format at once in a single zip.
Will the stamp keep its size in Word?
Yes. Every image is tagged with the size of a real rubber stamp, 2.2 inches square, so it lands at that size instead of being blown up to the width of the page. The Word version also keeps the date, the time and the serial as text you can retype.
Can I add my company logo?
Yes. Upload your own logo as a PNG or SVG, or choose from built-in emblems, bank, government, globe, shield, gear, crown, scales of justice, caduceus and more. Move, scale, rotate and set the opacity of each element.
What shapes and styles are available?
Round and oval seals, rectangles and squares, plus shield, hexagon, octagon and triangle. Round seals support curved ring text and decorative borders: triple ring, double ring, scalloped (notary), gear, burst and rope.
How is a digital stamp different from a photo of a rubber stamp?
A saved stamp can carry a locked serial number and a QR code each time it is applied, so anyone can confirm it is genuine, see which document it belongs to, and check whether it has been revoked. A photographed rubber stamp proves nothing.
Do you support serial numbers, dates and times?
Yes. Add date, time and serial placeholders to any line. All three are filled in automatically when the stamp is applied to a document, so every impression is unique and traceable, and in the Word download all three stay editable text.
Can I use the stamp on a PDF?
Yes. Save the stamp to your library, then upload a PDF in Quick Sign or inside a signing envelope, place the stamp and your signature, and download or send the sealed document.
Is this better than custom rubber stamps or a self-inking stamp?
It depends what you need it for. A self-inking stamp is unbeatable on paper you are already holding. But most documents never reach paper now, and custom rubber stamps take days to make, cost more each time the wording changes, and cannot be corrected once cut. A digital stamp is ready the same minute, is editable forever, and can carry a serial and a QR that a photographed rubber stamp cannot.
Can I make a self-inking stamp online?
Yes, in the sense that matters: the same wording, the same layout, ready the same minute rather than days for a die to be cut. We do not sell the physical block, and if your documents are paper you are holding, a self-inking stamp is genuinely faster. If they are PDFs and Word files, the block is a detour: you would be printing a document purely so you could stamp it and scan it back in. The digital one also changes: a new address or registration number costs nothing, where a rubber die has to be re-cut.
How does this compare to a self-inking date stamp?
The date bands on a self-inking date stamp have to be turned by hand every morning, and the morning nobody does it is the morning a hundred documents get stamped with yesterday. Here the date fills itself in when the stamp is applied, and in the Word download it is a live field that reads today every time the file is opened. A time can go on it too, which a physical date stamp does not carry at all.
Can I make a received stamp with the date on it?
Yes. Add a date line and it fills in automatically each time the stamp is applied, so a received stamp with date always shows the day it was actually used rather than the day it was designed. In the Word download the date stays editable text, so it can be retyped without redrawing the stamp.
How do I make a company stamp with a date?
Click + Date in the designer and a date line is added to the stamp. Leave it empty and it fills in with the day the stamp is applied, or set a fixed date if the stamp records something specific. You choose the format (DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY or a written month), the size, the colour and exactly where on the seal it sits.
Can I change the date or time on the stamp after I download it?
Yes, in the Microsoft Word download. The date and the time are real, editable text there, not part of the picture, so you click into one and retype it. The serial number behaves the same way. In the PNG, JPG, SVG and PDF they are drawn into the image, because those formats have no text to edit.
Can I make a received stamp with the date and time on it?
Yes. Add a date line and a time line and both fill in when the stamp is applied, so a received stamp with date and time records the moment a document arrived rather than just the day. That is the difference that matters on a tender deadline, a court filing, or anything logged in and out on the same afternoon. Both stay editable text in the Word download.
Can the date fill itself in, instead of me typing it?
Yes, tick “Let Word fill it in” when you download. The Word file then carries a real DATE field (and a TIME field) rather than a fixed value, so it reads today every time the document is opened, with no typing at all. The trade-off is that it keeps changing, which is right for a received or approved stamp you press every day and wrong for one recording when a specific thing happened. For that, leave it off, or press Ctrl+Shift+F9 in Word to freeze the field into plain text. A date you typed into the designer is never turned into a field, because that is a record of a day rather than “today”.
How do I add a time to the stamp?
Click + Time in the designer and a time line is added, exactly like a date. Leave it empty and it fills in with the moment the stamp is applied, or type a fixed time if the stamp records a set hour. You choose the format (24-hour, 12-hour with am/pm, or with seconds), the size, the colour and where on the stamp it sits.
Can I make a paid stamp or an approved stamp with the date?
Yes. Start from the Received, Paid or Approved template, or type your own wording, then add a date line. Because the date fills in when the stamp is applied, the impression always shows the day the document was actually handled.
How do I make digital stamps, and is a digital seal stamp different?
Same six steps either way, and the difference is shape rather than method. How to make digital stamps and how to make a digital seal stamp are the same question asked about a rectangle and about a circle: pick the shape, type the wording, set the colour and border, add a date or a logo, then download. A seal is conventionally round with the text following the ring, so pick the circle and put the organisation name on the top arc.
Is this an online rubber stamp maker as well?
Yes. A rubber stamp maker used to mean somewhere that cut a die, and online stamp making now means the same wording and the same layout as a file, ready the same minute. What you cannot get here is the physical block. If the documents you stamp are paper in your hand, a cut die is still faster; if they are PDFs and Word files, the block is a detour you would be printing documents to justify.
What does company stamp making cost now?
Designing costs nothing and needs no account, which is the part that used to cost the most: a die had to be cut before anyone could see whether the wording fitted. A company digital stamp maker inverts that. You see the finished seal at full size first, and pay only for the file, once, with no subscription. Changing a registration number later costs nothing, where re-cutting a rubber die costs the same as the first one.
How do I insert a stamp in Word, or add one to a PDF?
Two different answers. For Word, download the Word version: it already carries the In Front of Text wrapping, so it floats over your paragraphs on the first drag instead of pushing them down the page, which is what happens when a picture goes in with the default In Line With Text setting. To add a stamp in Word by hand instead, insert the transparent PNG and set that wrapping yourself, which is the step people miss. For a PDF, save the stamp to your library, open the file in Quick Sign or in a signing envelope, and place the stamp where it belongs on the page.
Is there a free editable rubber stamp template for Word?
There is something better than a Word template, and it is worth knowing why. A free editable rubber stamp template in Word puts the ring text on a WordArt path, so it stops fitting the moment the company name changes length, and the circle distorts if you drag a side handle. Here the layout is generated, so the text re-fits itself and the geometry stays true at any size. Design it free with no account, then take the Word download, which keeps the date, the time and the serial as real text you can click into and retype.
How do I make a company stamp online?
Type the registered company name as it is actually registered, which is the part people abbreviate and should not, then add the registration number and the town if your paperwork carries them. Pick a round seal or a rectangle, set the colour and border, and the ring text curves to fit on its own. Designing and previewing are free and need no account, so you see the finished digital company stamp at full size before paying for anything. A registered stamp is only as good as the details on it, and getting those wrong is the one mistake a re-cut die charges you twice for.
Does this help us go paperless?
That is the point of it. Stamping, signing and certifying are usually the last reasons a document gets printed. Doing all three in the browser, with a seal anyone can verify, removes the printer from the loop and leaves you with a file that is easier to prove than the paper was.

What PDF Verified is, and what it is not
A stamp identifies who issued a document. It is evidence rather than a formality that makes a document binding on its own, and it should only ever be made and applied for a business or an office you are authorised to act for: a mark that imitates another organisation in order to pass a document off as theirs is forgery in most places. Where a registry, a bank or a counterparty requires a particular form of seal, that requirement comes from them.
PDF Verified is a tool for preparing, signing, stamping and checking documents. It is not a law firm, a compliance service or a forensic examiner, and nothing here is legal, financial or compliance advice. Requirements differ by country, by document type and by the party asking, so check what applies to your document before you rely on it, and take advice where the document matters. You are responsible for the documents you create, sign and send, and for having the authority to do so: signing or stamping in somebody else name, or as an organisation you do not represent, is forgery whatever tool is used. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for how a document made with this tool is used or relied on. The full position is in our terms of service.
